Why See Royal Wood?
Ever After The Farewell
Royal Wood hits the road in support of his latest album, Ever After The Farewell. The album is said to be an ode to old classic styles and has been inspired by love and loss, after tragically losing his father to an illness and the same year finding love and marrying his now wife. Wood was able to capture both emotions and put them into his new album, which is the rawest of sounds due to the songs being recorded on the same day they were written.
Growing up in a household filled with music, it's no doubt Royal Wood is incredible at what he does. At the age of four he was able to play the piano by ear, before taking lessons at the age of eight. He soon went on to become a multi-instrumentalist and now, even on the Ever After The Farewell album, most instrumental pieces are playing by Royal Wood himself.
Performance date: 25 May 2018
